ABOUT SJÁVARBORG
Restaurant in Hvammstangi
Sjávarborg restaurant was opened in 2015 and is located above the Icelandic Seal center. The building was previously used as a freezer for a slaughterhouse but has now been beautifully renovated to a restaurant. Sjávarborg Restaurant is by the harbor in Hvammstangi and has a spectacular view over the ocean. Sometimes guests can enjoy their meal while watching wales swim in the sea.
The restaurant can seat up to 100 people at once but has permit for hosting 130 people.
Our menu has various dishes with emphasis on fresh Icelandic ingredients.

11:30 am - 3:00 pm
& 5:00 pm - 10:00 pm.
Sat & Sun:
5:00 pm - 10:00 pm.
